Course description

This course will help you gain an understanding of how Autistic pupils can be supported as they take part in transitions to different settings.


Lynn McCann is the author of "How to support children with ASC in Primary School" and "How to support students with ASC in Secondary School" published by LDA 2017. She also writes regularly for the TES blog, and has published articles in SENCO Magazine, NASEN Connect and Optimus SEND magazine (Autism and SRE and How to write social stories). She has also completed the National Autistic Society Assessor training.

Training objectives

Delegates will gain ideas and strategies to develop their understanding of how to support pupils with Autism as they transition to different settings.
