Share the Let’s Talk Together Traffic Light System of Positive Interaction
Watch and analyse video footage of how these key interaction strategies can be used effectively to develop the emotional health and communication skills of all children

This informative, interactive course is split into two remote leaning sessions:
Positive Interaction - Session 1
It’s all about you - Developing a shared understanding of why the positive interactions a child experiences from birth play such an important role in their future as well as taking a moment to reflect on the impact of not having enough positive interactions.
Positive interaction strategies in practice - What are the PI strategies, and can we identify them being used?
Positive Interaction - Session 2
It’s not all talk - Understandingcommunication development as a pyramid of skills.
Being a clear model - Through analysing more video footage, practitioners will be supported to look again at key positive interaction strategies in more detail and identify the positive impact they have on young children and the quality of their learning experience.
Time to reflect
