Anaphylaxis is a severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reation that can develop rapidly and this qualification provides the knowledge and skills to promptly recognise and manage a casualty with anaphylaxis until emergency medical assistance arrives.
This qualification is regulated in the UK and awarded by First Aid Awards.
The qualification is assessed through practical demonstration and written assessment. The learner must successfully pass both written and practical assessments to achieve the qualification. There is no grading of the assessment; learners pass or are referred.
Scenarios will be set to enable a learner to demonstrate their knowledge and practical skills. The practical assessment is ongoing throughout the course but the Trainer will make learners aware of when they are being assessed.Essential Information
You will look at the main wellbeing issues for young children today, with an extra focus on mental health and wellbeing in Covid and what that means for staff and children alike. You will explore how emotional wellbeing issues present in the classroom and how teachers and school staff can support children who are struggling.Essential Information
Due to this session being run remotely, it will be run over two morning sessions. If we are able to run face to face training we will let you know.
