An up to the minute programme based on the original DfE materials and significantly updated. This is a valuable course for those on interview panels or who are new to their role. It is a legal requirement that at least one member of an interviewing panel has undertaken safeguarding training.
This programme provides a valuable insight into how to monitor and evaluate the school's recruitment practice and wider safeguarding issues as schools have a legal responsibility to safeguard children and promote their welfare. It will also be evidence for Ofsted and other stakeholders that the school takes its responsibilities seriously.
Did you know?
For a 'Good' school to continue to be graded 'Good by Ofsted', not only must provision still be good, but safeguarding must be judged effective.
At the end of each of the four sessions of the workshop relevant questions for that session are displayed and participants complete a test, selecting from multiple choice answers. Participants subsequently receive a certificate.
