How do we collect your data?

The Hounslow CPD website www.hounslowcpd.org.uk is the central site for schools’ staff training, professional development, courses and conferences.

By registering for an account, you will provide us with your name, email address, job title and place of work. You may also provide us with other personal information during the process of booking places on events. This information is stored in your account and can be found under ‘My Profile & Bookings.’


Gaining your consent

During your contact with the us you will be informed of how your information will be used and that it may be necessary to share this with other services and organisations such as schools in the borough.

If you do not agree for us to share information, you should let us know. However, there are times when your information could still be shared, for example:

  • the stated purposes we tell you about when you supply us with information
  • as part of our duty to protect a child, a vulnerable adult, yourself or the public
  • for the prevention and detection of a crime
  • the assessment of any tax or duty
  • if we are required to do so by any court or law.

Where we share your details for the purposes of applying and booking places on events, professional development sessions, training, conferences of seminars, you will be made aware of this through the site.

Where we share your details for the purposes of job application, we will always seek your prior permission. Where possible, your details will be anonymised to ensure a fair recruitment process.

You have the right to withdraw this information at any time.

We will not store your information for any longer than necessary and for no longer than 2 academic years.
